Booking Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Each participant/attendee is required to carry a valid ID, such as passport or Emirates ID (driving license or similar is NOT sufficient) due to regulations of the UAE Coast Guard. Participants not carrying their ID will not be permitted onboard. In such case this will be regarded as no-show.
Your booking is only confirmed upon execution of a 50% non-refundable down payment towards the charter fees, payable within 3 days after receiving the payment request or immediately if the booking date is less than 3 days from your booking time.
No-show & Cancellation
No-show will be charged at 100%.
If you cancel your booking you must advise us in writing and the cancellation will be effective from the date such cancellation is received. If you have notified us by email, please follow up to check that we have received it. In case of a duly cancellation, it shall be at the discretion of Delice Charter to offset your non-refundable down-payment towards a rescheduled charter trip.
Promotion codes are only valid for bookings placed online. Promotion codes entitle you, at the time of booking, to a saving on a new order placed with Delice Charter. Delice Charter reserves the right to decline to accept bookings where, in its opinion, a promotion code is invalid for the booking being placed. Promotion codes are only valid for specific charters and may be withdrawn at any time. Only one promotion code can be used per booking. Please note that promotions and discounts are only applicable if the booked items are fully paid within the valid promotion period respectively within the payment period stated on the invoice. In the event of correct cancellation, refunds will be given as per the above cancellation terms and pro ratio for discounts applied. In promotions where there is a free or half price item when purchasing multiple items, please note that the discount will be applied to the cheapest item.
Adverse Weather Conditions
In the event of a forecast for bad weather conditions prior to departure, and where there is no permission for ‘lagoon only’ cruising, we will re-schedule the charter to an alternative date within 4 weeks. Refunds will not be made for bad weather as this is outside our control. If rough weather should occur during the charter, the captain will make the decision on whether there is a necessity to alter the planned route, or to return to the marina for safety reasons.
If you discover that you have left any personal items on the yacht, please give us a call immediately, and we will contact the crew to inform them. We cannot be held responsible for any items left on board once the charter has ended. Please collect your lost property within 24 hours.
It is the responsibility of the captain to ensure that guests do not compromise the safety of themselves or the charter or the yacht due to excessive alcohol consumption. Yachts are subject to occasional coastguard checks and guests should be aware of this. In addition to the above, the marinas in Dubai have strict regulations regarding disembarking charter clients and will not tolerate loud or unruly behaviour on their premises.
No anti-social behaviour will be accepted and if found, will be reported to the Police. Anti-Social behaviour will result in the early removal from the yacht without any refund.
Please ensure that you arrive latest 30 minutes prior to the start of the charter to avoid any unnecessary delays leaving the marina.
