Can I bring alcohol onboard?
You may bring your own alcohol onboard, please make sure that you are allowed to do so as per the regulations of Dubai. It is the responsibility of the captain to ensure that passengers do not compromise the safety of themselves or the charter or the yacht due to excessive alcohol consumption. Yachts are subject to occasional coastguard checks and you should be aware of this. In addition to the above, the marinas in Dubai have strict regulations regarding disembarking charter clients and will not tolerate loud or unruly behaviour on their premises. Also, no anti-social behaviour will be accepted and if found, will be reported to the Police. Anti-social behaviour will result in the early removal from the yacht without any refund.

Which destinations do you cruise to?
Dubai Marina: Depending on the length of your charter, we will visit Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Burj al Arab, The Palm, Atlantis and Dubai Marina.
Businessbay: Depending on the chosen route, we will see landmarks like the Burj Khalifa, Businessbay, the Dubai Creek and the Dubai Canal including the waterfall bridge.

Do I need to take an ID with me onboard?
Yes, each passenger is required to carry a valid ID, such as passport or Emirates ID (driving license or similar is NOT enough) due to regulations of the UAE Coast Guard. Passengers not carrying their ID will not be permitted onboard. In such case this will be regarded as no-show.

What if I left some property onboard after my trip?
If you discover that you have left any personal items on the yacht, please give us a call immediately, and we will contact the crew to inform them. We cannot be held responsible for any items left on board once the charter has ended. Please collect your lost property within 24 hours, if found by the crew.

What if the weather conditions are bad on the time of my trip?
In the event of a forecast for bad weather conditions prior to departure, and when there would be no permission for 'lagoon only' or 'on captain's risk' cruising, we will re-schedule the charter to an alternative date within 4 weeks. Refunds will not be made for bad weather as this is outside of our control. If rough weather should occur during the charter, the captain will make the decision on whether there is a necessity to alter the planned route, or to return to the marina for safety reasons.

What if I have to cancel my confirmed charter booking?
If you cancel your booking you must advise us in writing and the cancellation will be effective from the date your cancellation is received. If you have notified us by email, please follow up to check that we have received it and we will arrange a new date and time with you for the alternative trip. As the 50% down payment to book a yacht is non-refundable, it shall be at Delice Charter’s discretion to refund the payment. No-show will be charged at 100%.
